Are you a workaholic?

If you recognize yourself in on of the following situations you should keep it slowly:
You want to do everything
As any workaholic, you avoid to give responsibilities to others because you are afraid the situation not to develop negatively. Because of the lack of time, you work too much in the predicaments as if your life would hang over that project.
You are preoccupied with your work
The few hours you spend at home alone or with your family you study permanently all kind of documents. Even in the discussions with your friends and family you talk about your work.
You neglect your personal life
You never take a vacation, not even if you are sick, and you spend your spare time working. Even if you don’t have much to do, you try to be proactive. In this way you move away from your family and you are in jeopardy of compromising your couple relationship by sending away your lover too.
You hide or you deny your workaholic attitude
When someone tries to draw your attention on the fact that you are workaholic you explain him that you have much to do only these days, although you know that the late hours at work are frequent in your case. There are also workaholics who try to show the good part “Better dependent on your work than on other things”, or “It may be like that but look at the benefits.”
You are never satisfied with yourself
You criticize yourself and you are never satisfied with what you do. That is why you try to demonstrate your skills at work.
You are incapable to relax yourself
The rare moments you spend out of the office you are stressed, tense and pensive. You always verify your mobile phone so that you don’t miss a call.
You hide any disease symptoms
It is the most dangerous period for those who are workaholic. Despite the fact you detect some severe symptoms (nausea, dizziness, frequent headaches, you put on weight / you lose weight) you don’t talk to anyone about them and you refuse to go to a doctor, by saying is something temporary.
